Greater Good Grants offers grant development services for small and mid-sized organizations and businesses across the United States. Ultimately, our goal is to help you meet your goals and to fulfill your mission. We do this by providing a range of services, including grant readiness assessments, prospect research, proposal development, application management, and grant development consultations.
Approach
We are highly collaborative and use an educational approach to help organizations and businesses grow their grants capacity. Initial 15-minute consultations are free. Once we understand what’s needed, we’ll provide you with a proposal outlining the tools and services we can provide to help you succeed.
Melanie J. Spencer
Melanie, founder of Greater Good Grants, has more than 20 years of nonprofit and public service experience and has helped dozens of nonprofit and for-profit entities secure grant funding from private, state, and federal grant sources.
A certified grant professional, Melanie uses a highly collaborative, efficient approach to develop grant-worthy proposals. She has generated funding for projects in diverse sectors, including youth development, literacy,
education, renewable energy, agriculture, community development,
outdoor recreation, and the arts.
As an experienced journalist, editor, and project management consultant, Melanie brings a broad band of expertise to each project, helping clients
identify resources and strategies to advance their organizational goals
and serve the greater good.
